The Wide Window

The Wide Window, written by Lemony Snicket has 301 pages filled with frightful adventure. The Baudlaire children, once again in a O.K. home, feeling safe with their new guardian, Aunt Joesophine, are once again found by Count Olaf who pretends to kill Aunt Joesophine, then kills her leaving the Baudlaires with Mr. Poe as always to try and find a new home. This book is fairly breathtaking and is more recommended for mature teens who don't mind sadness.

The Reptile Room

The Reptile Room written by Lemeney Snicket is 190 pages long filled with sadness. When the Baudlaire children finally get the perfect home with Mr. M.M. Count Olaf comes and ruins it for them by killing Mr. M.M.
The Reptile Room is a great novel that is sad, but fascinating at the same time and would be great for mature kids and some teens.
